What is “Produce the Note”, and how can it help me stop my mortgage foreclosure?
February 26, 2009
“Produce the Note” refers to a demand by the home owner, to the mortgage note holder. The homeowner is essentially demanding that the mortgage company “produce the note” which proves that they have the right to foreclose on that property. A “Produce the Note” demand can be an effective method of buying time, in order to forestall your foreclosure. Many mortgages were bundled and sold as securities, and the paper trail could take a substantial amount of time to sift through. Many mortgage holders can not readily produce a copy of the original instrument that created the debt. Eventually they will find it however, so this tactic, while effective in potentially delaying a foreclosure, should not be seen as permanent solution to stop foreclosure. If your home is being foreclosed, it is recommended, that you seek professional advice to help you keep your home. Many professionals will even offer a free consultation to let you know your options.
I need to write letter of resignation with two weeks notice. What sort of information should I put in the resignation letter?
February 23, 2009
People need to resign from their jobs for many reasons. Hopefully you need to resign because you are moving on to bigger and better things. Your resignation letter does not need to mention the specific reason that you are leaving, unless you wish to. The important thing to remember when tendering your resignation letter is “Don’t Burn Bridges!” If you are resigning due to a difference of opinion, don’t forget to thank the company for their time. The basic rule is that you don’t want to say anything that would jeopardize your employment with any other company, or that company, should you need to come back. It is customary to offer at least two week’s notice, and for some positions even a much longer period. If you have a problem finding the exact words, there are many websites with sample resignation letters online, that you can download and choose to customize.

After attending a four year university and obtaining your bachelor’s degree you must take the law school admissions test (the LSAT). Once you have been accepted into law school you will most likely spend three years in law school preparing you for a final exam. Each state requires that law students take an exam in order to practice law in that state. This exam is called the bar exam. Law school prepares students for the exam to an extent but it is highly recommended that you study independently for the exam and join a bar exam preparatory class to ensure you pass. The last step is to take a “character” exam to ensure that you are fit to be an ethical lawyer.
What requirements are necessary to obtain a pilot’s license?
February 4, 2009
To obtain your private pilot’s license, as required by the FAA, you must fly a single engine private aircraft for at least 40 hours. You must be at least 17 years of age to obtain your license and at least 16 years of age to fly solo. Generally, the first 20 hours of your flight training will be done under the supervision of a flight instructor. An FAA instructor will sign off in your log book and issue you a private pilot’s license upon completion and passage.
